Holiday Valley Snowsports School is PSIA and AASI Certified. Skiing, snowboarding, cross country and telemark skiing are taught by instructors who use the PSIA-AASI National Standards, giving consistency with other schools around the country. Our instructors attend continuing education clinics to familiarize themselves with the most recent teaching techniques, equipment innovations and the mental aspects of learning and improving your skiing or riding. The School offers children’s group lessons for kids from ages 4-11 and adult group lessons for ages 12 and up.
Beginner Learn to Ski or Ride

Make new friends and experience the joy of sliding on snow in a fun-filled group setting. Adult Ski and Snowboard Lessons for ages 12 and up
The ultimate guided experience with instruction tailored to your needs and goals. Private lessons and semi-private lessons are available for ages 3 and up. Lessons are available 7 days a week; day and night. Call the private lesson direct line at 716-699-3506 to reserve a private lesson or semi-private lesson. If there is a specific instructor you want, request them by name.
The Lounsbury Adaptive Program offers lessons to persons with virtually all disabilities; both physical and cognitive. Each student is instructed individually with full emphasis on his/her ability, rather than the disability.
From women's specific clinics to race camps to a month just dedicated to learning snowsports.
Cubs (4 and 5 year olds) programs are located in the Creekside Lodge. Children are grouped in lessons by ability and reservations are required for all Cubs lessons. Cubs and Mountain Adventures Children's Programs for ages 4 to 11.
Mountain Adventures (6 to 11 year olds) programs are located in the Creekside Lodge and have options for all ability levels of young skiers and riders.
This season-long program for skiers and riders (ages 4 - 11) is geared towards building on-snow skills along with special activities like racing and terrain park events.
The Holiday Valley Junior Teams provide a excellent opportunities for young aspiring athletes to develop their skiing or riding skills both mentally and physically.
