Holiday Valley Lodging COVID-19 POLICY Exception for reservations arriving prior to April 30, 2021. If you find it necessary to cancel due to COVID-19 travel restrictions or illness you will be permitted to change your dates or cancel your reservation without penalty when 24 hours or more advance notice is provided.
Are there hair dryers in the rooms?
There are hair dryers in all of the Inn and Tamarack Guest rooms. If you're staying in a condo, best bet is to bring your own.
Are there kitchenettes in the rooms?
The Suites at the Inn have microwaves but for a Full kitchen you would want to choose one of our Rental Properties or the Tamarack Club suites.
Are there laundry facilities?
The Inn and Tamarack have coin op laundries.
Can we have a Late Check out?
We honor this request whenever possible but given the high occupancy levels of the Ski Season it is rare that we are able to extend late check out. You may call the front desk the day of your departure to inquire.
Can we use the Inn or Tamarack's amenities if we are lodging in a condo or off site?
Sorry, the Inn and Tamarack amenities including the pool are reserved for registered guests exclusive use.
Can you pay to use the pool?
Only registered guests of the Inn at Holiday Valley or the Tamarack Club may use the lodging facility's pool, except guests of Ellicottville Oasis Spa at the Tamarack Club may opt for the Resort Experience Day Pass which includes use of the Tamarack Pool and Hot tub on the day of their appointment. The 3-pool summer complex is open to the public from Memorial Day though Labor Day on a limited basis during summer 2020.
Do repeat guests get a special rate?
All of our guests are important to us. Sign up for the Last Minute Club for notification of special deals and last minute availability.
Do we have to bring our own linens, paper towels, etc. when staying in the condos and private homes?
We provide linens and paper towels for our Tamarack and Rental Management Guests use during their stay. Please bring any groceries you would like for your visit. The fireplaces in Tamarack are gas. Wood bundles and firelogs are for sale at the Rental Management Office for some units that have wood buring fireplaces. Please note some of our units have gas fireplaces – no fuss no muss!
Do you provide babysitters, or do you have a babysitting service?
We have a babysitter list that is collected by our Day Care Center. Call 716-699-3933 between 8AM and 5PM, or stop by your lodging's front desk for a copy of the babysitter list.
How do we get an early check-in?
Due to our high occupancy check in begins at 4pm each day. While we try to accommodate requests for early check in when possible. We recommend that you pack your gear so that you can hit the slopes while you wait for the check in time to begin.
If we book online is the rate the same as making a phone call?
You will save by booking on line through www.holidayvalley.com
Is it worthwhile to be placed on the waitlist for cancellations?
Yes, as we receive cancellations of reservations, we offer available rooms to those on our wait-list first prior to opening the room up for sale to the general public.
Should we make our reservation far in advance or can we book last minute?
We always advise making advance reservations; we are frequently at full occupancy. But, if you are able to make last minute plans, give us a call and we might have just the spot for you! Or we can recommend other hotels, b&b's or lodges nearby.
What are the hours for making lodging reservations?
During the Ski Season, Central Reservations is open Daily from 8:30 – 10pm. ONLINE reservations can be made 24 hours a day.
When can we make reservations for next season?
At the Inn and Tamarack, we open up availability on the first of the month for the same month next year. So on Feb 1, 2019 you can start booking for the month of Feb 2020. At Holiday Valley Rental Management, we start taking reservations on June 1 for the upcoming season.
Where do I check-in?
If you are staying at the Inn at Holiday Valley or the Tamarack Club, look for the portico entrances and the front desks are right inside. If you are staying at one of our rental properties through Holiday Valley Rental Management Service, go to the Holiday Valley Realty/Rental Management office on 6084 Rt. 219, just a mile south of the Village of Ellicottville. We’re located across the street from the Inn at Holiday Valley at the traffic light.
How far is it to Ellicottville?
The Village of Ellicottville is one mile from the Inn at Holiday Valley, 1.2 miles from Tamarack. Southern Tier Transportation taxi service is available in Ellicottville, 716-375-8294. The taxi is available Monday through Thursday until 9PM and Fridays and Saturdays until 2AM. They are closed on Sundays.
Will the shuttle take us to town?
There is no shuttle service to the Village, but a taxi service is available at (716) 375-TAXI, or UBER or Lyft.
What services are in Ellicottville?
There is a grocery store and liquor store in Ellicottville, a gas station, a medical complex with a pharmacy, orthopedic office, doctor's office, dentist's office and physical therapy office, hair salons and a barber shop and personal trainers.
