October 8-9, 2022

Fall Festival is a weekend of fun for the whole family with chairlift rides, mountain top cookouts and music. The Village is one big celebration with street vendors, arts and crafts, entertainment, sales and tons-o-fun. Most activities run from 10AM to 5PM in Ellicottville. The Fall Scramble 4 or 8 mile Trail Run is on Saturday. More info on the run and registration can be found by clicking here.

Please note: the chairlift rides are for people only...dogs must hike up. And please keep your dog on a leash during Fall Festival. NO COOLERS OR BACKPACKS ALLOWED on the chairlift.

*Chairlift rides are also available on Spruce Lake Quad.

Fall Fest Tips:

  • If you plan to ride the chairlift, purchase your lift ticket in advance! This will save you a lot of time and effort the day of your visit.
  • Once you make your purchase, you can pick up your lift ticket at one of our PUB machines, located outside of the Customer Service Building, on the bottom floor of the Resort Center, at Sky High Adventure Park, at The Inn and within The Tamarack Club.
  • After purchasing your lift tickets online, take a screenshot of the code that you need to scan at the PUB machine (just in case you aren't able to get good cell reception once you arrive in town).
  • Dress appropriately. You never know what October weather will bring so hope for the best but come prepared for anything.
  • Have proper footwear. You might just end up hiking up (or down) a ski slope. The right shoes make all the difference.
  • Dogs, backpacks and coolers are not allowed on the chairlift.
  • This year, music and food/drinks will be back at the top of Mardi Gras.
  • Food/drinks at the top of Mardi Gras will be cash only purchases. There will be an ATM at the top of Mardi Gras for your convenience.
  • Music will be playing at the top of Mardi Gras from 12-4PM and at the Cabana Bar from 4-7PM.
  • The Mardi Gras lift runs from 12 - 4PM.
  • Children age 6 and under are free to ride the lift.
