Who are you? What do you do at HV and how long have you been working here?

I'm Katie DiDonato Worster.  I started in 1995 at the Inn at Holiday Valley as the Office Operations Manager and over saw the front desk and assisted in the Conference Sales office.  Over the years my involvement with Conference Sales has ebbed and flowed.  I was the Conference Sales Coordinator prior to taking over as the Inn General Manager in 2007.  I will be changing my role again and will become the Conference and Lodging Marketing Manager this month.  I will be responsible for overseeing the Conference Sales Office and the sales and marketing of all three lodging options at Holiday Valley. 

What do you like more, summer or winter? Why?

I love the winter because of all the customers who return year after year. It is fun to see the kids of my first customers continue the tradition and bring their children.  I love the summer because of the variety of customers that we see – conference, weddings, family reunion’s, golf groups and adventurers.

What is your favorite thing about your job?

The variety of things I get to do and the ability to add duties that don’t necessarily fall within the typical duties found in job descriptions.

When you’re not working, how do you enjoy spending your time?

Hiking, paddle boarding, cycling, skiing and snowshoeing.

If you’re off work and having fun with friends at HV, what are you doing?   

Hiking, Paddle boarding, Skiing and Snowshoeing!

What’s your best HV memory?

Many of my life’s milestones have been at Holiday Valley, so it is hard to pick just one.  Being able to have my kids nearby and at times even coming to work special events with me has been awesome, this is where they learned to walk, ski, drive and WORK.  My wedding was at Holiday Valley last weekend and it was EPIC! It will certainly be the memory I will hold onto forever.

Holiday Valley is a place where all generations of family members can enjoy time and play together.
