Who are you? What do you do at Holiday Valley and how long have you been working here?
I am Richie Morgan, AKA - Riggie. Mountain Ops Crew, Park Crew, Events Crew, retired Freestyle and Arial coach. I have worked at Holiday Valley for 13 years now, on and off seasonally.
What do you like more, summer or winter? Why?
Summer- I have the opportunity to be surrounded by nature. I enjoy the peacefulness that these enchanted mountains bestow upon my spirit through the summer.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
Working with my best friend, brother, mentor and boss - Michael J. Nenno.
When you’re not working, how do you enjoy spending your time?
We are so fortunate to get to enjoy the Double Black Diamond golf course. I play regularly, am also an avid biker, fisherman, hunter, and kitty lover.
If you’re off work and having fun with friends at Holiday Valley, what are you doing?
Building race cars at 19 Rockwell for Imhoff Racing.
Most underrated thing to do at Holiday Valley in your opinion?
The peacefulness of an early morning sunrise on a nice quiet mountain.
What’s your best Holiday Valley memory?
The day I was hired full time because it was one of the best “adult” decisions of my life.
In your opinion, what makes Holiday Valley special?
The fact we work for a small family oriented business and know we belong to a great team.
