Join Out of Collective Podcast host @mradamx for UPPENADAM, a low-key uphill touring session where participants voluntarily walk uphill in ski boots and call it fun.
The session breaks down:
- What all that expensive touring gear actually does
- Efficient skinning technique (so participants don’t look like a baby giraffe)
- Transitions — the moment everyone feels awkward
- Pacing and layering to avoid blowing up 200 feet in
- Any touring or splitboard questions attendees have been afraid to ask
After the discussion, the group will tour from the base of Yodeler to the summit and collectively pretend they’re not breathing that hard.

Requirements:
Participants must bring their own touring or splitboard setup and be able to use it to hike up the hill so as not to damage the skintrack and then be able to ski or ride down confidently.
