Cameron Markott is an American Country Singer-Songwriter. Her boots began walking to their own beat right through the mountains and never stopped, eventually venturing all the way to Western New York, where she now draws her inspiration from the world around her, writing deeply personal songs based on struggles and the many stages of metamorphosis. She is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and has recently been awarded the best international song (2023) from the Wild Filmmakers Festival.
With Brave Wings is her debut solo acoustic record, focusing on showcasing her songwriting and down to the roots minimalistic approach to life. Stripping away the smoke, mirrors and special effects allows for the heart and soul of music and lyrics to shine through on their own, unfiltered, exactly how she intended, showing who she really is as an emerging artist and as a person.
