Year 'Round Day Care
Our facilities are licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services and are designed to serve the year ‘round child care needs of the families from the local community and staff of Holiday Valley.
Our main day care facility offers everything from infant care to pre-k programs, which are centered on playful and age-appropriate, educational activities. We are also provide before and after school care for school age children up to 12 years old.
Space and availability is limited. We recommend that parents contact us early to inquire about availability. We maintain a waiting list based upon priority, registration date and space availability for each age group.
We currently have year round, full and part week child care availability for newborn infants and children ages 3 years and up.
We also currently have summer full and part week availability for children ages 3 years and up.

Ski Season Day Care
Winter Season Day Care is open winter weekends from December 17, 2022 to March 19, 2023 for children ages 6 months to 6 years. Located inside the Holiday Valley Lodge, ground floor.
Limited enrollment available - so please book early! Making your reservation a week or more in advance is recommended. Reservations are required, please call (716)699-3933. Please note, a Child in Care Medical Statement is required.

All reservations require the Child in Care Medical Statement to be completed by a licensed physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant. The form can be faxed to (716)699-3971 or emailed to us by clicking here prior to the first day of day care.

Day Care Staff
Our Center staff are trained in CPR and First-Aid, have training in developmentally appropriate practices, and have prior experience in childcare. Our qualified staff members provide a program of appropriate and fun-filled activities and projects throughout the day.
Important Details
- If your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know when you register. If you would prefer to bring your own food, all food must be completely nut free, as we are a nut free facility. Food containing nuts or from a factory where nuts are used will be thrown away immediately, guests will not be reimbursed.
- In order to provide the best care for your children, we separate the children based on age and development. The caregiver ratio in each of the classrooms complies with the New York State Child Care Facility Licensing standards. (1 to 4 ratio for infants, 1 to 5 for toddlers. 1 to 7 for preschoolers).
- Please leave items home that are not necessary for care. We are not responsible for broken or misplaced toys/items brought to the center.
- Children must be picked up by 5PM. Late fees will be charged for children picked up after 5PM.
Full Day Program
- Hot lunch and two snacks provided for toddler and preschool
- Water or milk provided
- Nap/Rest time, if requested by parent
Half-Day Program
- One snack provided
- Water or milk provided
- No nap/rest time
What to bring
All children have assigned cubbies for the day for storing personal belongings. Our staff will label belongings as they are being used throughout the day. We highly encouraged you to label all belongings brought to the center in advance to expedite drop off and pick up processes.
- Change of clothes
- Diapers/Pull Ups
- Wipes if specific kind needed
- All outdoor snow gear (jackets, hats, gloves, snow pants, boots, etc) if participating in a ski lesson
- Indoor shoes (optional)
- Comfort Items such as blankets, pacifiers, stuffed animals, etc.
Parents of Infants must provide:
- Bottles
- Formula/Breast Milk
- Baby food
- Snacks
- Diapers
- Wipes
- Change of clothes
- Diaper rash ointment if necessary
Illness
- If your child had a fever, cough, diarrhea, or vomited in the past 24 hours prior to your reservation start date they may not attend.
- Note: Your child must be fever-free, without medication, for a full 24 hours before participating in our programs.
