We've officially kicked off the 2022-23 ski season!
Get ready for the 2022-23 winter season!
Beverly is one of Holiday Valley's #1 fans as she has been skiing here for 57 years! Her goal this season was to ski 100 days and on the day of this shoot, she was at 98!
Grooming the Wall requires to use of a special cat, a winch cat. With a pitch of just over 40 degrees on the Wall and a chair lift down the center, it requires some special skills and maneuvering to keep this slope maintained.
Date nights are fine. But date days on the slopes are truly where it's at!
A banked slalom on Champagne at Holiday Valley on Sunday, March 6th, the Banked pits 125 riders against each other for the best time on a hand-dug course. Snowboarders across 4 Divisions - Men's (16-24), Women's Open, Grom (15 and under) and OG (35 and older) will have the times of their best 2 of 3 runs to try and take the crown. Registration is $35 and gets you 3 runs, lunch, a drink and goodie bag. Prizes will be given out throughout the day, with trophies for the top 3 times in each division (plus some fun ones!). Competitors will receive a Phunkshun facemask that will double as a competitor bib. DJ Tyler Swift will be spinning tracks to keep the vibe happening all day long. This year's beneficiary is the P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative, a WNY-based organization that helps families dealing with the difficulties of pediatric cancer. More information to follow!
