The Holiday Valley Mudslide is a mudrun that's really, really FUN. Yes, you'll get muddy, yes there is running, yes there are lots of obstacles but NO fire, NO barbed wire and NO electric shocks! There are 3.5 mile and 5.4 mile options and 15 obstacles with the start at Spruce Lake on top of the mountain.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Jim Kelly’s Hunter's Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to giving hope through education and awareness, research, and family care for Krabbe, Leukodystrophies, and Newborn Screening.

Race Day Details
Pick up your race packet at the Yodeler Lodge on Saturday June 18, starting at 8:00AM.
Plan to be at the top of the lift during your start window. The lift ride is approximately 20 minutes. Start windows: long course runners start between 10:00 and 11:00. Short course runners start between 11:15 and 12:30. The start is continuous, so once you arrive at the top of Spruce, you can start running. If you are a competitive runner, please plan to start toward the beginning of your wave.
Please do not change courses during the race. Race officials will help you stay on your course when you get to the split for long vs. short.
When you finish the race you can clean off with the (not warm) hoses provided. Bring your own towels!
Lunch is free for competitors (hot dog, pulled pork or veggie burger, chips and a beverage) on the Yodeler deck. Spectators may purchase lunch at the same location.
It's a known fact that a great costume will help you run faster. (unless it is a full pig mascot costume that's saturated with mud) A group costume is even better! Be sure to check in with the costume judges upon arrival! Fun prizes for best costumes.
The Kids race is about a half mile of kid-sized obstacles finishing with ONE slide down the mudslide. It will start at 1:30 in waves of 3 age groups: 8-10, 5-7 and 3-4. Registration for kids is $20 which includes a t-shirt and lunch. Pre-register by June 1, 2022 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
