Very muddy woman runnerThe Holiday Valley Mudslide is a mudrun that's really, really FUN. Yes, you'll get muddy, yes there is running, yes there are lots of obstacles but NO fire, NO barbed wire and NO electric shocks! There are 3.5 mile and 5.4 mile options and 15 obstacles with the start at Spruce Lake on top of the mountain.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Jim Kelly’s Hunter's Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to giving hope through education and awareness, research, and family care for Krabbe, Leukodystrophies, and Newborn Screening.

COVID Regulations

We do have a few rules you'll still need to follow this year. Please wear your mask at all times except when running. Please keep a 6 foot social distance from those outside your bubble. There will be a continual start - you show up for your wave period, ride the lift and start your run as you exit the lift (OK, you can stretch a bit first). At the finish line get your medal, grab your goodie bag and snacks and make your way to the car. Just try to avoid close contact and congestion.

Please plan to be at the top of the lift during your start window. The lift ride is approximately 20 minutes. You got your start window when you registered . In general, long course runners will start between 10:00 and 11:00. Short course runners will start between 11:15 and 12:30. Competitive runners should sign up for the earliest wave for their course.

Please do not change courses during the race. Race officials will help you stay on your course when you get to the split for long vs. short.

When you finish the race you can clean off with the (not warm) hoses provided. Bring your own towels. Pick up your goodie bag and snacks and head to your car where you're welcome to tailgate. Please avoid gathering with those outside your bubble.

Mudslide Pig in mudpuddleCostumes

It's a known fact that a great costume will help you run faster. (unless it is a full pig mascot costume that's saturated with mud) A group costume is even better! Be sure to check in with the costume judges upon arrival! Fun prizes for best costumes.
