In addition to improving their own skills at skiing or riding, this introductory course will help you understand the role of the instructor in the “mountain experience”, which is truly what most of our guests/pupils are seeking. Upon successful completion of all 3 sessions, we may invite people from this course to join the school. Please understand we hire according to our scheduling needs and are not aware of our needs until we see how many of our staff are returning for the season. The cost of the course is $75.00; this includes four hours of indoor presentation Friday night, all day Saturday on-snow (about 5 hrs) and Sunday morning 9 AM to 11:30 AM. We will provide you with a lift ticket for Saturday and Sunday. You will need to have your own equipment. You should be prepared to provide or purchase your own lunches. Regardless of your reasons for taking this course, you find improvement in your skill and knowledge of your own "mountain experience.” You will receive personal instruction and feedback from some of the top trainers from our school, all of who are Level II or Level III Certified by national professional organizations, PSIA or AASI. In addition, you will also meet and interact with others who share your interests in teaching and coaching snowsports. This course is an active, informative and fun event.
