Great bartenders enjoy meeting and interacting with people and can do many jobs at once. Cooks and dishwashers for cafeterias and John Harvard's work behind the scenes in the kitchens. Servers work at John Harvard's and in catering. Bussers work in the lodges picking up trays and trash and keeping the tables cleaned off. Knowledge of the resort, the area and skiing or snowboarding in general is a plus.
Housekeepers clean the Inn and Tamarack guest rooms daily and clean the Rental Properties after guests check out. Duties include vacuuming, making beds, general cleaning of rooms, kitchens and bathrooms.
A lift operator needs to enjoy interaction with our guests and is able to do physical work outside for his or her full shift.
Seasonal full and part time positions available for Maintenance and repair of mountain equipment, machinery and vehicles.

Snowmakers are responsible for turning water into snow using compressed air and snowguns. Holiday Valley utilizes 500 HKD snowguns, 200 of which are automated. Snowmaking season generally runs from mid-November through February, depending on the weather.
Snowsports instructors work with our guests to help them enjoy winter sports by teaching or improving their skiing or snowboarding skills. PSIA or AASI certification is suggested but not required. Ongoing clinics are offered to improve your teaching and skiing or riding skills. Most staff work either in the children's program (ages 3-11) or the adult program (ages 12 and up). Lessons are offered during the day and at night.
