$4 Million Upgrades for 2010-11 Season - August 31, 2010
Over the past 20 years, Holiday Valley has reinvested over $96 million. The resort is known for its commitment to quality and steady improvement. From snowmaking and grooming to lifts and lodges, Holiday Valley continues to progress each season. The 2010-11 season features $4 million in improvements including a new high speed quad chairlift, two new slopes, increased snowmaking, new rails and Tubing Park improvements.

Double Black Diamond Golf Course - July 3, 2009
The Double Black Diamond is the completely renovated and redesigned 18-hole golf course located at Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicottville. “Holiday Valley has the reputation as the finest ski resort in the region. With this new course, we are able to say we’re the finest year-round resort in the region”, said Dennis Eshbaugh, Holiday Valley’s President and General Manager. The Double Black Diamond has been nominated by Golf Digest for best golf course redesign of the year for 2009.

Folk Art and Music Fair - July 3, 2009
Ellicottville’s Rotary Club’s Foundation for Youth announces the Americana Folk Art and Music Fair on July 18th and 19th. This event features live music and many hands-on demonstrations to capture the spirit of the artistic community that abounds in the Ellicottville area and the Enchanted Mountains of Western New York. This two day family event begins with arts, music and food in the Ellicottville town square on Saturday, and then a music fair, with food, refreshments and artisans at Holiday Valley on Sunday. The weekend will surely instill the spirit of creativity in children and adults alike.

IBO World Championships - July 3, 2009
Holiday Valley Resort, in Ellicottville, New York, will again host the International Bowhunting Organization’s (IBO) 2009 World Championships from August 12th to the 15th. The event will attract more than 2,000 contestants and their families from more than 20 countries to compete for the world championships and $200,000 in cash and prizes.

$100,000 Hole in One Shootout - June 18, 2009
Holiday Valley will host the second annual $100,000 “Hole in One Shoot Out” on Saturday, July 25, 2009. The qualifying round takes place from 10 AM to 3 PM where golfers will pay $5 for three 100 yard shots. The closest 20 golfers will compete in the final round at 3 PM on the 165 yard number nine hole. A hole in one in the final round will net the golfer a $100,000 prize!

Holiday Valley Improvement Projects 2009 - June 18, 2009
Completion of the Tamarack Club, together with $2 million in 2009 improvements total $92 million reinvestment in Holiday Valley over the past 18 years. This year's projects include construction of a new Champagne Mountain Top Warming Hut, snowmaking improvements, a new groomer, Holiday Valley Tubing Park improvements, new Snowsports School uniforms, construction of 2 new summer public swimming pools and the initial plans for rebuilding the Main Lodge (Clubhouse Chalet) and relocation the Holiday Valley access road.

Holiday Valley’s Fractional Ownership Condominium Development - May 11, 2009
The Tamarack Club at Holiday Valley is a slope-side condominium project with four star amenities. This fractional ownership project is the largest single expansion in Holiday Valley’s 50-year history. In December 2007, Holiday Valley launched the sales campaign and the groundbreaking ceremony took place in April 2008. Construction is on schedule and the new building will be ready for guests in December this year.
