Youth Lesson Programs
Mountain Adventures Children's ProgramFrom the youngest Cubs and Li'l Troopers to the upper level Trailblazers and Broncos, we understand how kids tick. The trick is to let them learn, as they have fun on the snow. Mountain Adventures, in the Creekside Lodge is located adjacent to the Clubhouse Chalet, at the foot of the Creekside Quad chairlift. Children are grouped in lessons by age and ability. Sign up for ski and snowboard programs, rent skis and arrange for lunch all in one convenient location. Lift tickets are free during class. Helmet Safety
Helmets provide significant protection, but they cannot provide total protection from all foreseeable impacts. It's up to you to educate yourself about their benefits and limitations. Ultimately, the choice of whether to wear a helmet is one of personal or parental choice. By following Your Responsibility Code you will reduce your risk of all types of injuries. Helmet rentals are available in the High Performance Shop on the lower level of the Clubhouse Chalet and in the new Creekside Lodge. Go to the Lids on Kids website for more information on kids & helmets.
Chairlift SafetyMountain Adventure programs include instruction and use of chairlifts and/or tows. Riding a lift may occur without an instructor. Children may be required to ride the chairlift with other children in the class, Holiday Valley employees or other adults in the lift line. Riding a chairlift can be a hazardous activity for your child. By allowing your child to enroll, you acknowledge the inherent risks of skiing and accept any and all injury to your child.
