Snowboard and Freeride
The majority of our terrain features are located in the east complex, serviced by the Cindys and Sunrise quads. The area to the east of School Haus is a "progression park" with introductory level smaller boxes, rails and snow features. It is a great place to learn how to use terrain features and a place to just relax and have some fun. Snoozer has snow features like jumps and banked turns, and will be the site of several USASA Boardercross events. The Rail Park at the base of Mardi Gras features a variety of progressive and creative jib lines. Foxfire, the home of the 42/78 Park, contains our largest features for advanced level riders. There is a variety of jump features and technical rails like a wall ride, kinked and straight rails, a battleship and a rain-see from Northern Rails. 42/78 is the site of most slopestyle events in the upcoming season. Moonshadow, located off the Morning Star quad, consists of large evenly spaced rollers that are a blast for riders and skiers. And if you're new to riding, Holiday Valley is a Burton Learn to Ride Center and Burton Kids Learn to Ride Center! What this all means is that you'll learn from the best instructors using the best teaching methods on the best equipment.
